Amanda Francis

practices appellate, medical malpractice, negligent credentialing, personal injury, product liability, and premises liability litigation cases. Before joining full-time, Amanda clerked with Kara Hadican Samuels & Associates on a seminal negligent credentialing and medical malpractice case. 

In her professional career, Amanda has served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and spent a year practicing trial defense litigation at Kean Miller LLP.

During her time at Tulane Law, Amanda interned for the Honorable Sarah S. Vance at the U.S. Eastern District of Louisiana, was published in the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law, and later served as its Managing Editor. She was named the M. Truman Woodward, Jr. Scholar, received the CALI Award for Excellence in International Business Transactions, and received the highest grades in Civil Law Torts and in Cuban Law & U.S. Relations. 

While an undergraduate, Amanda also studied abroad at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where she took International Relations and foreign policy courses as well as continuing her studies of the Spanish language. 

Amanda is fluent in both English and Spanish.
